digitalbytes.net is my personal domain. Some friends and I came up with the name and registered the site back in 2000.

My name is Michael Long. My interests include programming, Linux, video games, and technology in general. I grew up in southern Indiana and went to college at Indiana University, where I obtained a degree in Computer Science.

Since graduating from Indiana University in 2000, I've been working as a programmer in the video game industry. I've worked at a few different companies and am currently employed at Human Head Studios. The most recent project I worked on was Prey, and I also have worked on Soldier of Fortune and Star Trek: Voyager: Elite Force, both for the Playstation 2, and Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear for the Dreamcast.

I currently live in beautiful Madison, WI, and I attend nearby Door Creek Church.
